Small mines are large employers of labor in developing countries. They represent, however, unique challenges in terms of operations, safety, health and ecological damage. There is therefore a very clear need of training, and we believe we have developed the right approach for a cost-efficient program that allows participants to start and manage small mines in a variety of conditions.
