Dr Michael Akerib leads InnovaX with skills based on twenty years of managerial experience in industry and fifteen years of lecturing and consultancy experience. He has developed and delivered workshops in Strategic Management, Marketing, New Product Development, Decision Making and Scenario Planning. He has held positions as Lecturer or Professor at IMHI (Cornell University / ESSEC program), the Graduate School of Management Lille, the Graduate School of Management Poitiers, the Catholic University of Lyon, Ecole Française des Techniques de l'Information et du Management, City University and the Lausanne Hotel School. His client references include Bank Leu, Greenwich Associates, Arcelor and the Federal Polytechnic School in Lausanne.
With more than 30 years of management experience in all sectors of the life sciences (biotech, in-vitro and in-vivo diagnostics, pharmaceuticals and medical devices) Dr Jean-Luc Centeleghe, PhD, represents Katan Associates International in Europe. He has been lecturing and holding workshops at the Institute of Technology and Dairy School (now ENSAIA) in Nancy (France). He served as Marketing manager at Corning Medical (UK) and as Product Manager at Union Carbide (Medical Products division) in France and as General Manager at Serono Diagnostics (Switzerland). In 1984, he founded JLC Consultants, active in the biotechnology business consulting and in 2001 founded Alphagenics Diaco Biotechnologies (Italy), a company specializing in molecular biology. As consultant, Dr Centeleghe has provided marketing and technical support in Europe, Middle-East and Africa to US Biotech and Pharma companies. He was awarded a MS in Biochemistry at the University of Paris-Orsay (France), an Engineering degree in Diary Industries and a PhD in Microbiology at the University of Nancy (France). He is based in Switzerland and is fluent in several European languages.
Laurent Dukan has a PhD in electronics, an MBA from the Sorbonne University of Paris, is a clinical psychologist specialized in systemics and transactional analysis. He has also been trained in biotechnology. His expertise in the fields of innovation and in the psychological changes brought about by technological development. He consults to a large number of organizations and lectures on the Psychology of Innovation, the Future of Technologies and the Philosophy of Life Sciences in several Masters programs at the University of Angers, Lille and Tours, in France. He trains psychologists and consultants in integrative psychology and in the Palo Alto systemics at the School of Practicing Psychologists in France. He is a past President of the French National Association of Doctors in Science. He is the author of a large number of papers and publications
Joseph Lambert holds a degree in Physics from Liverpool University, England, and a doctorate in Engineering Science from the Technical University of Brunswick, Germany. He has had a career as a scientist, a business manager and for 17 years until 1993 was the Managing Director of the UK subsidiary of the German company Heraeus, manufacturing equipment and components for the electronics industry. He ran his own engineering consultancy company in the UK with a client base including Infineon AG, Dresden; Jenoptik AG, Jena and ASI GmbH, Berlin. He has held senior positions with Britain's major business organization - the Confederation of British Industry - including membership of an expert working party on Excellence in Manufacturing Industry. He is currently engaged as a visiting Professor at the Institut Universitaire Kurt Boesch, at their European campuses, lecturing on Operations Management to MBA students.
Nicolas Sierro holds a Master of Science degree in Microengineering from EPFL (Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne) and he was, for that same course, the expert for three final diploma projects in CAD for Robotics. After 6 years at ABB in Baden and 2 years as CAD teacher at the Basel Technical School, he joined, in 1997, Swiss Telecom PTT in Bern in charge of mobile Internet. As Project Manager for Prepaid Solutions, he was active internationally in the Czech Republic, Italy and Venezuela. As mobile e-commerce Product Manager at Swisscom, he launched the mobile ticketing service as a worldwide premiere, winning the 1st prize for Innovation from the International Trade Fair for Ski Area Management 'Interalpin' in 2000 at Innsbruck, Austria. He presented mobile e-business in several conferences or exhibits and was part of the core teams for the creation of a spin-off (SICAP AG) and of a new joint venture with Bluewin. He has been a consultant for the past 5 years on Internet, e-business and mobile telecommunications with ABB, Baume et Mercier, the City of Zurich, Georg Fischer, the Glion Hotel School, Orange, Peugeot, Stryker, Sunrise, Swisscom, the United Nations and UPB.
